Site/Civil Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of civil engineering functions in support of a growing, multi-disciplinary site development design group.
• Supports Practice Leads and Management.
• Maintains project and client deadlines.
• Manages project budgets.
• Prepares graphics, exhibits, site/civil construction plans and specifications.
• Communicates effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and county/agency review staff.
• Composes technical reports, permit documents, memorandums and other written communication such as email.
• Handles multiple concurrent projects.
• Supports NJ and/or PA land development permitting and approval processes.
• Become proficient in Dewberry engineering practices and standards, and other Dewberry-specific software programs.
• Drive is a requirement of the position.

Requirements

• BS degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE is required.
• 5-10 years of progressive design experience directly related to site/civil development projects in the PA and/or NJ area.
• Experience in Stormwater Management Design techniques.
• Working knowledge of NJ and/or PA land development permitting and approval processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D.

Qualifications

• Strong capabilities in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Hydraulics Software and Adobe Acrobat.

Pay

The projected range for this position in the following locations are:

• Parsippany, NJ: $97,475-$125,325
• Mt. Laurel, NJ: $93,888-$120,713
