Site Audio Engineer (West Side)

Responsibilities

• Operating and programming necessary equipment for services or events.
• Troubleshooting technical systems as needed.
• Participation in production team meetings.
• Ensuring smooth technical transitions throughout the service, identifying areas for improvement.
• Working with the site experience team to adapt and execute changes following the run-through.
• Training technical volunteers.

Requirements

• Education Requirements: High School Diploma, College degree or equivalent field experience preferred.
• Experience/Skills Requirements: Minimum 3 years professional audio experience, Excellent oral and written communication skills, Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks, Knowledge of the Google web platform and willingness to learn other software tools as needed, Organized, disciplined with priorities, meticulous attention to detail, Extensive working knowledge of live event technical systems in one or more areas of discipline (audio, rigging, programming, etc.), Extensive experience in on & off-site technical support for live production systems with an excellent ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, Driven & independent worker with a high attention to detail and a desire for excellence, Proficiency In Several Of The Following: Mac OS X, Digico consoles and systems, Yamaha consoles, SMAART, Wireless Workbench, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, IP Communications, Signal flow and routing, Broadcast Audio
• Schedule/Travel Requirements: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and other high-impact events at Crossroads.
