About the role
Performs responsible, sometimes confidential, duties and routine administrative functions. This position covers multiple job functions (e.g., Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Office Management, Personnel Coordinator).
Responsibilities
- Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment with “Safety First” expectations, including PJHA process, observation process, and compliance with all company/site safety guidelines.
- Maintain asset inventory, office machines, and supplies.
- Payroll functions:
- Process timecards, maintain records and files.
- Accurate calculation of employee pay, balancing hours in payroll system.
- Check Kronos against spreadsheet, process direct deposits and interim check requests.
- Administer payroll changes, research work orders, perform data entry into Cargill system, and prepare accounting reports.
- Accounts payable/receivable functions:
- Maintain accounts payable/receivable ledgers.
- Process and correct billing records, perform credit and collection activities.
- Perform non-routine, moderately complex accounts payable/receivable functions following established procedures, including data entry of employee timesheets.
- May handle Personnel Coordinator responsibilities for the site.
- Decipher and process transactions.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers through effective communication and solid record of delivery on assignments.
- Communicate with team members to assist in short and long-range planning aligned with company goals.
- Ensure tasks are performed safely, effectively, and efficiently.
- Maintain positive customer and employee relations.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Multi-task and handle numerous interruptions.
- Maintain good attendance in accordance with company policy.
- Perform any and all tasks assigned by the responsible supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-high school training in administrative duties/programs preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Office 365, SAP, Workday, UKG, 10-Key, Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong computer skills, ability to work alone, and prioritize tasks.
Pay
$19.13 - $22.50 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
