About the role

The Simulation Training Instructor (STI) plays a crucial role in providing high-quality simulation training to healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in medical education and a passion for improving patient care through simulation-based learning.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement simulation scenarios that meet educational objectives and enhance clinical skills.
• Facilitate debriefing sessions to promote critical thinking and reflection among participants.
• Evaluate participant performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with other educators and administrators to develop and maintain simulation programs.
• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in medical education.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Education, Medical Education, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in medical education or simulation-based training.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and effective teaching strategies.
• Experience with simulation technology and software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Current certification in CPR and ACLS.
• Experience with medical terminology and anatomy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with simulation software such as SimMan, Manikin, or similar systems.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
