Responsibilities

• Assists the Simulation Center with activities surrounding pre and post simulation events
• Runs all simulation-related equipment
• Performs routine maintenance on all Simulation Center equipment
• Assists with data collection and documentation
• Troubleshoots technical issues
• Assists with inventory management
• Supports activities as assigned to maintain quality and effective simulations

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s degree or higher with 1+ years of experience or a high school diploma with 3+ years of experience
• CHSOS certification may substitute for an Associate’s degree
• One year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• Must be able to lift/carry a minimum of 50 pounds and push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds

Additional Experience and/or Qualifications:

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility in work hours, including off-hours and weekends to support Simulation Center programs/courses
• Demonstrates good judgment and critical thinking skills when handling procedural and technical tasks
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• CHSOS certification preferred within 2 years of employment

$27.99 - $41.98 / hour

Schedule

• Full Time
• Hours/Pay Period: 80
• Schedule Details: Typical shifts are Monday - Friday, between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Will occasionally have evening or weekend hours.
• Weekend Schedule: Occasionally weekend shifts to support scheduled courses (may be up to 6 weekends per year).
