Simulation Support Team Technician (57788)
Job Summary
BMA is seeking a Simulation Support Team Technician to join their team in Fort Leavenworth, KS. The role supports the ARNG Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) in a full-time non-exempt hourly SCA position. As part of the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC), the Simulation Technician provides support to the MTC and other training facilities/deployed sites (as required).
Responsibilities
- Supports the operation of FIRESIM, BSWS, JDLM, MUSE, or SENGEN systems.
- Provides formal classroom instruction to BSWS operators prior to constructive exercises.
- Maintains setup, testing, and troubleshooting guides for SME systems.
- Troubleshoots computer hardware, software, and basic networking configurations.
Required Skills & Certifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the LVC-G field.
- Demonstrated experience in Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming (LVCG) federations, models, systems, tools, and Mission Command Systems (MCSs).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in setting up systems, troubleshooting, and software configuration issues.
- Military experiences preferred.
- Simulation experience preferred.
- Must have an understanding of Windows OS and Linux OS.
- Experience working in a high security environment and management of classified equipment.
- Understand the Risk Management Framework (RMF) certification and accreditation process and Information Assurance (IA) requirements.
Desired Skills & Certifications
- Obtain and maintain CompTIA Security + certification.
Clearance Requirements
A DoD Secret Clearance is required for this position.
