About the role

Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital seeks a Simulation Operations Specialist for their Simulation department responsible for performing the operations of medical simulation technology, including all IT, manikin, audiovisual and moulage components.

Qualifications

  • Education: Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a medical or information technology field.
  • Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Preferred: EMT certification, Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist.
  • Technical Requirements: Required: Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.
  • Years of Related Work Experience: Required: 3 years previous related experience in health care or information technology field.
  • Preferred: 3-5 years advanced skill and/or knowledge in technology, clinical patient interaction, and simulation-based education.

Pay

Pay for non-physician positions is determined based on related years of experience and internal equity. Eligible employees may also receive additional forms of compensation, including shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonus opportunities, where applicable.

Schedule

Manager and above positions may participate in Cottage Health’s annual management incentive program.

Skills

Required: Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.
