Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison with the faculty and students in providing Simulation, Skills, and Science lab services to fulfill the nursing curriculum's needs.
  • Coordinate the use of the Simulation lab to assist the nursing students in critical thinking and applying theory to clinical.
  • Update and maintain the simulation, skills, and science labs.
  • Develop and implement plans, policies, and procedures for the labs.
  • Maintain the appropriate inventory for the nursing laboratories and schedule lab practice.
  • Aid science faculty in preparing for lab sessions to ensure necessary supplies are available.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of practical experience as a licensed nurse.
  • Ability to build clinical simulation scenarios for teaching purposes using pertinent patient medical history.
  • Knowledge of equipment and the latest nursing technology.
  • Ability to work independently with general supervision.
  • Ability to effectively operate related equipment and machines for instructional purposes.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Current CPR card.

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in using simulation and laboratory equipment.
