Silicon System Validation Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Develop SoC and E2E system validation plan development and execution
• Create FW tooling for debug and validation
• Power and performance characterization on pre-silicon platforms and post-silicon validation boards
• Create diagnostic and validation tools to test firmware functionality, performance, and reliability
• Able to work in an agile environment, changing roadmaps, and adapt validation plans based on changes

Skills

• Hands-on experience in bring-up and validation of complex SoCs
• 3+ years of embedded systems or firmware development experience
• Experience in scripting language like Python preferred, ability to read and debug FW/baremetal code in C, high level of proficiency in C (preferred)
• Familiarity with firmware testing frameworks and automation, proficiency with JTAG debuggers
• Basic ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues
• [Preferred] Knowledge and experience in pre-silicon validation platforms (i.e., FPGA and emulation)
• [Preferred] Proficient in lab instruments such as Oscilloscope, analyzers

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or relevant field with minimum 8-10 years of experience in Silicon Validation
