Silicon Photonics Engineer

About the role

The Silicon Photonics Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing advanced silicon photonics components and systems. This role requires expertise in optical engineering, semiconductor fabrication, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop silicon photonics devices and systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate photonics components into larger systems
• Conduct experiments to test and optimize device performance
• Write technical reports and present findings to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in photonics or semiconductor engineering
• Strong understanding of optical principles and semiconductor physics
• Experience with photonic device fabrication processes
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or similar programming languages
