Sign Specialist

Gerald Printing is looking for a Sign Specialist to join our Bowling Green, KY team. We are consistently growing and need someone who is looking to have a future full of opportunity with our company.

Responsibilities

Operates a variety of sign equipment and assists with installations as needed.

• Serves as an operator in running the wide format roll printers, flat-bed printer and vinyl cutter to make signs.
• Receives art files for signs and uses the wide format software to print the signs.
• Receives art files for the plotter cutter as well as our Colex router/cutter and produces simple and complex shaped product as needed.
• Maintains the sign making equipment as needed to operate efficiently.
• Operates the laminator to finish signs when specified.
• Installs wide format vinyl prints on walls, windows, floors and fleet vehicles.
• Installs wall mounted and hanging sign panels.
• Works outdoors including digging holes for posts and mounting signs, etc.
• Installs interior and exterior dimensional graphics and letters.
• Operates pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment as needed to move orders through the shop.

Requirements

• Experience running flat-bed and roll-fed printers preferred.
• Experience installing rigid signs and wrapping walls, windows, floors, and fleet.
• Extensive daily interactions with co-workers and some customer contact.

Pay
