Description Scope of Position: Responsible for coordinating and leading the day-to-day production of printed graphics, signage, and display materials. This is not a graphic design role; it is a hands-on print/sign production and workflow coordination role focused on work orders, materials, quality control, documentation, troubleshooting, and deadline execution. Supervisory Responsibilities No direct reports; however, this role coordinates day-to-day production work, serves as a job-level point of contact, supports prioritization, and helps ensure production team members follow documented job procedures and deadlines. Primary Duties And Responsibilities Understands and implements ECI’s values of customer intimacy and quality.Coordinate print/sign production schedules through work orders, prioritizing deadlines, material readiness, and cross-functional handoffs.Serves as the first point of contact on specific jobs and makes sure proper job procedures are followed on those projects.Coordinate with graphic production team members, design, fabrication, project/account teams, vendors, and other departments to ensure printed graphics/signage are completed accurately and on schedule.Assist with ordering and scheduling materials from vendors and other departments for timely and efficient graphic production.Coordinate inventory management of graphic materials with other team members, ensuring materials are accounted for & properly stocked. Ensuring proper graphic numbering, archiving, and organization is used; assist with maintaining accurate dimensions & production notes on final graphic layouts.Keep current with graphic production techniques; understand the use of graphic production equipment & tools, computers & software.Maintains professionalism when communicating with fellow workers. Requirements Qualifications: Strong knowledge of sign and print graphic production processes.Strong proficiency in print/sign production, large-format or wide-format graphics, finishing, materials handling, documentation, and quality control.Proven experience in project coordination and meeting deadlines.The ability to troubleshoot production challenges and implement effective solutions.Working proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and print-production workflows, including file preparation, scaling, color/quality checks, RIP/print setup, and production documentation as applicable.Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Education and/or Experience: Associate degree or higher, or equivalent degree from a technical school; three (3) to seven (7) years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. General Skills Knowledge - Working knowledge of sign production, large-format/wide-format print production, exhibit/display graphics, finishing methods, substrates, adhesives, laminates, mounting, and related materials. Computer Skills – Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office 365, and able to learn to use an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Self-paced ability to work in 8-hour shifts. Physical Demands: No special skills are required; May stand for long periods of time at a workbench; May be asked to perform light physical duties, lift graphic materials, climb ladders, and work with chemicals. There is also a risk of cuts and bruises while operating equipment, handling supplies, or working with finished products. Additionally, loud noise from fabrication shop equipment may be present. To perform work safely, functional near, far, and peripheral vision, as well as adequate hearing, may be required as directed by the supervisor.
