They are also responsible for selecting and preparing the appropriate materials needed for each project, following the established work plan, and ensuring the finished product meets quality standards and client expectations. The duties of a siding crew member mainly involve physical labor, attention to detail, and precision in measuring and cutting materials. There are instances when one must operate various power tools and equipment, work from ladders or scaffolding, and interpret blueprints or installation guidelines.
