Main functions

  • Plans, develops, and operates the quality organization, and makes proposals for various organizational changes.
  • Ensures the implementation of quality procedures and methods specified by the customer.
  • Ensures the measurement, reporting, and fulfillment of quality goals specified by the customer(s) and the fulfillment of customer requirements.
  • Ensures the smooth operation of quality areas and tools related to production.
  • Lets the junior managers of the business unit belonging to his organization, engineers, and colleagues working in the SQA, Material Review Board (MRB), Incoming Quality (IQA), and OBA areas.
  • Actively cooperates with fellow departments.
  • Participates in the implementation of company-level projects.
  • Continuously develops tools and processes related to the quality area.
  • Represents the QA area in various professional forums and meetings of Foxconn.
  • Participates in daily operations, intervening if necessary.
  • Evaluates and develops subordinates.
  • Actively communicates with key stakeholders (E.g., Global Quality, MSFT representatives, SI Management Team)
  • Leads and actively communicates escalated quality incidents.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Environmental Protection: Understands and minimizes environmental risks, follows/enforces ISO 14001 system, and reports and investigates any damage.
  • Occupational and fire safety: Understands and reduces occupational and fire safety risks, complies with/enforces Occupational Safety and Health Regulations and Fire Protection Regulations, and cooperates with the occupational and fire safety specialist.

Scope

  • Management: Orders work, grants leave, checks and evaluates the work performed. Provides instructions and assignments to subordinates. Represents the interests of the company before customers and authorities.
  • Professional: Informs the organization about customer needs.
  • Case management: Approves customer audit reports, approves purchase requests belonging to the quality department.

Job specification

  • Qualifications/Experience:
  • - College or university degree 5 years of professional, 3 years of managerial experience
  • - Negotiation-level English language skills
  • - User-level knowledge of MS Office
  • - Good communication and leadership skills
  • - Initiative, self-motivation
  • - Accurate, quality work
  • - Deterministic action, exemplary behavior
  • - ISO 9001 manager/internal auditor qualification
