About the role

Prepares product for systems level assembly to include unpacking, set-up assembly, final packaging, and repair as required.

Responsibilities

• Accesses the appropriate paperwork and necessary drawings for each job assignment
• Verifies kits, enters Batch lot information, packages and labels accessory items according to documented instructions
• Uses appropriate mats and all required tooling
• Checks equipment (torque wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) to ensure proper performance
• Uses manufacturing routings and process instructions under close supervision
• May assemble a variety of systems integration subassemblies
• Notifies leadership of any shut down situations
• Enters data into Process Feedback System (PFS) and links subassemblies to final unit
• Enters quantities into Operations Complete (Baan) when required
• All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds, Customer Satisfaction
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble units in certified repair operations
• Use manufacturing routings and process instructions under minimal supervision

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of SI (Systems Integration) experience
• Ability to perform repair or test; some heavy mechanical assembly
• Demonstrate good component recognition skills
• Understanding of basic computer skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate high attention to detail
• Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism when representing the company
• Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work with diverse groups
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math

This is a safety-sensitive position. Where permitted by applicable law or required by federal regulation, Benchmark will conduct a pre-employment drug screen, which may include testing for THC. Pay

Compensation Range: $17.62 to $26.44 USD. Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
