Key Responsibilities
- Greet all guests in a friendly, professional manner upon arrival.
- Aid passengers with loading and unloading luggage as needed.
- Provide clear directions and respond to guest inquiries courteously.
- Proactively identify and assist guests in need of transportation services.
- Safely transport passengers along designated routes with scheduled pick-up and drop-off locations.
- Ensure proper use of safety equipment (seat belts, emergency kits, fire extinguishers, etc.).
- Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS or dispatch instructions.
- Adjust routes based on traffic, weather, or operational needs.
- Communicate delays or changes to dispatch or management promptly.
- Maintain meeting delivery or transport schedules while maintaining safety.
- Ensure proper parking and security of vehicle when not in use.
- Operate shuttle vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle at all times.
- Perform daily DOT vehicle inspections and report any safety concerns immediately.
- Report all accidents, incidents, or maintenance issues promptly to management.
- Ensure full compliance with DOT, state, and local regulations.
- Ensure all required permits, licenses, and certifications are valid and up to date.
- Accurately track and record passenger counts and complete required daily/shift reports.
- Maintain professional communication with guests, clients, and team members at all times.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Medical Examiner Certificate.
- Prior commercial or shuttle driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record in accordance with company standards.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Must successfully pass a background check, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
- Able to work in the United States and able to provide documentation verifying eligibility, as required by the Department of Homeland Security.
