Shuttle Driver/DOT

About the role

Performs shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle; loads and unloads aircraft and vehicles; sorts packages. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
• Ability to work with power and hand tools
• Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations
• Effectively communicate verbally in a time-sensitive, noisy operations environment
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance
• Must be licensed for type of equipment assigned

Job Conditions

• Requires medical exam in accordance with FHWA or FAA regulations
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

Pay

Starting wage: $23.21 - $33.93 per hour.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 4:30 AM – 1:30 PM.
