Responsibilities
- Performs shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle; to load and unload aircraft/vehicles; to sort packages.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- No prior experience required.
Skills
- Ability to successfully complete all basic and re‑currency training.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
- Ability to work with power and hand tools.
- Ability to communicate verbally in a time‑sensitive manner in a noisy operations environment.
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions per FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must meet qualifications outlined in Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Must pass a medical exam per FHWA or FAA regulations.
- Must be licensed for the type of equipment assigned.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position.
Pay
$23.32 – $32.52 per hour
Schedule
PM shift; Monday – Friday; 1600 – 2130
