Shuttle Driver/DOT

Responsibilities

• Performs shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle.
• Loads and unloads aircraft/vehicles.
• Sorts packages.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• None.

Qualifications

• Successfully completes all basic and re-currency training.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Able to work with power and hand tools.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.
• Effectively communicates verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Reads and speaks English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

• Requires medical exam in accordance with FHWA or FAA regulations.
• Non-covered safety sensitive position.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be licensed for type of equipment assigned.

Additional Details

• Monday-Friday 3:30pm-9:30pm (Must be able to obtain a SIDA Badge).
• Will help with bulk pick ups.
• Will be backup for pm shuttle.
• Helps park trucks.

Pay

Starting Wage is $21.28 / hour.
