Responsibilities
- Performs shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle.
- Loads and unloads aircraft/vehicles.
- Sorts packages.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED.
- None specified.
Qualifications
- Successfully completes all basic and re-currency training.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
- Able to work with power and hand tools.
- Meets qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.
- Effectively communicates verbally in a time-sensitive manner in noisy operations environments.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Reads and speaks English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
