Shuttle Driver/DOT-2

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED
• Minimum Experience: None
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be licensed for the type of equipment assigned
• Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to successfully complete all basic and re‑currency training
• Ability to lift 50 lb and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lb with appropriate equipment or assistance
• Ability to work with power and hand tools
• Effective verbal communication in a time‑sensitive, noisy operations environment
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions per FMCSA guidance

Job Conditions

• Requires medical exam in accordance with FHWA or FAA regulations
• Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

Pay

Pay: $20.31/hr – $29.69/hr

Part‑time PM hours

This compensation reflects the pay range reasonably expected for this position at the posted location(s). Actual pay is determined by factors such as experience, tenure, market level, performance, schedule, and work assignment.
