Shuttle Driver/DOT-3

Responsibilities

• Performs shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle.
• Loads and unloads aircraft/vehicles.
• Sorts packages.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• None specified.

Qualifications

• Successfully completes all basic and re-currency training.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate power and hand tools.
• Meets qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.
• Effective verbal communication skills in a time-sensitive environment.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Starting Pay: $22.25

Job Conditions

• Requires medical exam in accordance with FHWA or FAA regulations.
• Non-covered safety sensitive position.
• Constant alertness and safe working manner required.
• Licensed for type of equipment assigned.

Additional Details

• Monday - Friday 17:30PM - 22:30PM.
