Shuttle Driver - Airport Shuttles

About the role

Propark Mobility is currently hiring Airport CDL Shuttle Drivers for full-time and part-time opportunities to start immediately at Hartford, CT.

Responsibilities

• Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility
• Greets passengers and provides assistance with loading and unloading
• Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations
• Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms
• Communicates with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announcing arrivals and delays, coordinating the pick-up of customers, or handling other vehicle or customer issues that arise
• Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions
• Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems
• Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor
• Treats all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner

Requirements

• Must have a CDL (A, B, or C) with passenger endorsement
• Valid driver's license for at least 3 years
• Valid DOT medical card
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently
• Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends
• Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items up to 50lbs, if needed
• Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way

Qualifications

• Customer service: 1 year+ preferred
• Experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle: 1 year+ preferred

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour plus cash tips
• Job Type: Part-time
• Shifts Available: Mornings, Afternoons, and Evenings, Weekends & Holiday
