Showroom Sales Assistant

About the role
We are seeking a personable and detail-oriented Showroom Sales Assistant to support daily showroom operations and client interactions. In this role, you will act as a key point of contact for visiting buyers, stylists, and clients, ensuring an exceptional experience while maintaining the aesthetic standards of our collection. You will work closely with our sales team to track sample loans, process wholesale or retail orders, and manage showroom logistics.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Director of Sales and Wholesale team.
- Assist with customer order entry, revisions, and maintenance.
- Prepare customer presentations, selling tools, assortment worksheets, and meeting materials.
- Maintain customer contact information and account documentation.
- Coordinate sample requests, shipping, and product tracking.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements as needed.
- Maintain sales trackers, customer files, and internal spreadsheets.
- Assist with preparing weekly sales reports and business updates.
- Update reports with accurate information and ensure data is organized and current.
- Organize presentation materials for customer meetings and internal reviews.
- Support the Sales team with administrative tasks related to forecasting and order management.
- Prepare showroom materials before seasonal markets.
- Organize and merchandise samples for customer appointments.
- Coordinate appointment schedules and customer follow-up.
- Assist with line sheet updates, pricing documents, and seasonal selling tools.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests.
- Assist with order updates, shipment information, and product questions.
- Help deliver a high level of service across all wholesale accounts.
- Partner with Customer Service to monitor order status and communicate customer updates.
Requirements
- 1+ years in wholesale, fashion retail, showroom operations, or customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational ability with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or Google Workspace.
- Experience with wholesale/ERP systems (e.g., NuORDER, Joor, Shopify, or SAP) is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move sample racks, and lift boxes up to 25–30 lbs.
