Showroom Inside Sales Representative

About the role

Ferguson is a Fortune 500 supplier serving industries such as Commercial/Mechanical, Facilities Supply, Fire and Fabrication, HVAC, Industrial, Residential Trade, Residential Building and Remodel, Waterworks and Residential Digital Commerce. The Showroom Sales Support Representative works with Outside Sales and Showroom Consultants to perform behind‑the‑scenes sales functions, ensuring timely quotations, accurate order processing, contract updates, delivery coordination, and customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Work hand‑in‑hand with Outside Sales and Showroom Consultants performing behind‑the‑scenes sales functions to meet customer needs.
• Support the Sales team by delivering personalized customer service through timely quotations and accurate order processing for Showroom customers and Builders.
• Update customer contracts, coordinate deliveries with the warehouse, and answer sales calls for general information.
• Effectively use the customer relationship management (CRM) system and phone system.

Qualifications

• Prior sales and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong sales skills, including ability to upsell.
• Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and making timely decisions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and follow through on commitments.
• Highly motivated, customer‑service oriented with relationship‑building ability.
• General digital literacy, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes.

Pay

Starting wage is $25.00 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on experience. The hourly pay range for this role is $17.77 – $28.42, and the position is eligible for bonus or incentive pay.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
