Shower Glass Installer

Typical skills and tasks

• Ability to measure rough openings.
• Proficient with power and hand tools.
• Able to carry glass (up to 80lb).
• Load and unload glass panels as required by project needs.
• Fabricate aluminum window frames, cut & install glass materials.
• Read and interpret plans.
• Interface with customers and project managers.
• Comply with company process, policies, and safety protocols always.
• Measure, cut and fabricate glass according to client specifications.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in all fabrication process.

What you’ll need to have

• Install glass shower enclosures according to client preferences and design specifications.
• Proficiency in handling and installing tempered glass panels for shower enclosures of various sizes and configurations.
• Knowledge of specialized hardware and fixtures required for installation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to glass shower enclosure materials.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable insurability for regular business travel.
• Ability to lift 80 lbs.
• Construction or home building experience preferred but we will train those with a genuine interest in learning a new trade.
• Ability to read blueprints and take measurements with a tape measure.
• Great attendance record.
• Great communication skills.
• Ability to work alone and with others, which includes co-workers and project management staff.
• Self-Starter. Work alone and with others.

Job Location

Waterloo / Cedar Falls location (75 mile radius outside the area).

Schedule

Monday- Friday - 7am - 3:30pm

Pay

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
