Shower Aide CNA (Multiple Shifts)

About the role

Join our team at Garland Road Nursing & Rehab Center in Enid, OK as a Shower Aide (CNA). You will work an 8-hour shift, providing personal care to residents, assisting the charge nurse, and delivering exceptional service as part of a multi-disciplinary team recognized for its achievements and contributions.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advise supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at the beginning and end of shift.
• Contribute knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
• Comply with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Requirements

• State certification as a nursing assistant.
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule

• 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (8-hour shifts).
