Should Cutter SW - Day Shift

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Make an accurate cut on every front half around the shoulder and along the scapula.
• Properly pull the breast downward to separate meat from the frame.
• Maintain low scrape scores by monitoring and continuously improving the cut.
• Pay close attention to bones and remove as necessary.
• Sharpen the knife blade as necessary, every 3 or 4 birds.
• Change out blades at each break.
• Prepare presentations for wing cutters.
• Participate as a member of the team.
• Participate in ongoing development, communication, and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies.
• Coordinate work to ensure best practices with all team members.
• Attend appropriate team meetings.
• Foster strong cohesiveness regarding all major issues within the team, including direction, annual plan, budget, policy changes, etc.
• Identify and address any areas lacking cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team to resolve issues.
• Actively seek ways to achieve synergy within the larger organization.

• Understanding the responsibility to maintain familiarity with the systems and this position's role in support of these systems.
