Shot Peen Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate machine to enhance surface of parts
• Determine usage of different machines according to customer requirements
• Anticipate and overcome production-related problems, material shortages, equipment malfunctions, and unavoidable delays where possible and plan to reduce their impact on the operation
• Perform daily tests to determine size and shape of media
• Run test specimens and provide them to customers as required
• Cookinate company projects and programs designed to support different initiatives
• Communicate with customer service on recovery dates and expected completion dates for processing
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines and submit maintenance requests for further maintenance work

Requirements

• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (Required)
• Experience- Relevant Experience Preferred

• Compensation Range: $21.30 to $23.00 per hours (DOE) + shift differential 3rd shift.
