Equipment operator
About the role
BHI Energy is seeking an equipment operator to join their team at the Roxboro Fossil Plant in Semora, NC. This is a local hire position without per diem or relocation benefits.
Responsibilities
- Learn to operate and maintain lawn equipment such as a zero turn tractor and other similar equipment.
- Travel as required to perform job duties.
Requirements
- Able to pass a drug test.
- Able to pass a security background check.
- At least 18 years of age.
Qualifications
- Must be able to operate and maintain lawn equipment.
Skills
- Ability to learn new equipment quickly.
- Good physical fitness for manual labor.
Benefits
The base pay for this position, which is dependent on experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $18 an hour.
