About the role
The role involves operating shot blast equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces for further processing.
Responsibilities
- Operate shot blast machines safely and efficiently
- Clean and prepare metal surfaces using shot blasting techniques
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to supervisors
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of related experience in metal fabrication or similar field
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
- Proficiency with basic computer operations
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor
- Strong attention to detail
Skills
- Knowledge of shot blasting processes
- Basic understanding of metalworking principles
- Ability to follow safety guidelines
