About the Role

The Recovery Specialist II provides care that responds to the physical and psychological needs of members served. This role delivers direct and indirect services according to individual service plans and Medicaid standards.

The Telecare Thurston Mason E&T (Evaluation and Treatment) is an acute 15-bed adult intensive treatment program. It serves individuals experiencing severe psychiatric symptoms who may benefit from structured services, supports, and a secure setting. The program provides recovery-focused services for both voluntary and involuntary psychiatric care. Residents are ages 18+ and stay on average 14 days.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect care responding to physical and psychological needs of members.
  • Deliver services in alignment with individual service plans and Medicaid standards.
  • Apply knowledge of basic nursing skills, mental and physical health conditions, and terminologies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D and two (2) years of experience in a psychiatric mental health setting or BA/BS with one (1) year of experience in a mental health setting.
  • Current Washington Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) certification or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential issued through the Washington Department of Health (WADOH). First-time AAC applicants may experience a 30-90-day processing period.
  • Other WADOH licenses/certifications may be considered.

Pay

Expected starting wage range is $18.69 - $22.52 per hour, with the full range extending up to $26.36. Telecare applies geographic differentials to pay ranges based on the location where the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

  • Shift differentials: 6% for PM Shift, 10% for Overnight Shift.
  • Weekend shift differentials: 5% for Weekend AM Shift, 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend Overnight Shift.

Schedule

Short-hour shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm.
