Shopkeeper (MTR&S - PT Reg)

About the role

We are currently hiring a part time Shopkeeper in Milton, DE. The position involves presenting the shop in a friendly, inviting, and organized manner, providing the Dogfish experience to guests on the go, and helping run the store by maintaining adequate stock levels and managing the payment process.

Responsibilities

• Ensures superb service to customers through the prompt, friendly, and accurate processing of merchandise sales;
• Verifies that buyers of alcohol to-go are legal;
• Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of our merchandise, beer, and spirits to educate and provide the Dogfish experience to customers;
• Properly manages the charging and payment process to ensure accurate charging/billing of customers;
• Answers phones and maintains the store in a neat, well-stocked, and ready for sale condition;
• Opens and closes the store and performs all related duties;
• Affords assistance to the Lead Shopkeeper on execution of promotions, merchandising, store displays, and other initiatives.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED;
• 1+ years of customer service experience in a retail environment;
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
