About the role

The Shopee Engineering Infrastructure team is seeking a Frontend Engineer, Engineering Infra, specifically for fresh graduates. This role involves developing user-friendly, efficient, and scalable frontend solutions for internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of frontend features for internal infrastructure products (e.g., Cloud Management Platforms, DevOps Tools).
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design efficient data interfaces and optimize frontend performance (loading speed, response time).
• Develop complex data visualization components using libraries like ECharts or D3.js to display real-time system metrics.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Conduct in-depth code reviews to ensure technical excellence.
• Enhance the user experience (UX) for internal engineering teams, making their daily workflows smoother and more productive.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (Algorithms, Data Structures, Networks).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks, specifically React.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite) and version control (Git).
• Passion for UI/UX and developer productivity tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Higher Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Graduating Class: Students graduating in 2026.

Skills

• Basic understanding of Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Kubernetes) is a huge plus.
• Experience with Node.js for server-side rendering or tooling.
• Prior internship experience in building admin dashboards or internal tools.
