Shop Technician - Williston, ND

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

• Mastery of basic and advanced skills in processes, technique, assemblies, install, and technical evaluation procedures.
• Inspection, assembly, testing, repair, and painting/cleaning of various surface components (Frac, Production and Drilling Equipment) to specific verbal and written guidelines in the shop environment.
• Timely identification and correction of flawed equipment based on a written procedure while ensuring company and industry standards are met without exceptions.
• Accurate and honest completion and submission of paperwork associated with job tasks daily duties (JSA, Safety Docs, FST, FNCR, REQ, Timecards, etc.) in the set amount of time. Reporting any non-compliance of procedural actions immediately to Supervisor or HR.
• Labeling or stamping equipment in the proper manner.
• Inventory, maintenance, and logging of all assets, both inventory and company-owned, including shop tooling, vehicles, and related items.
• Effective communication with team members, customers, vendors, and the community in both written and verbal documentation. Assisting other team members in daily activities and job-related tasks approved by Quality & Production Team.
• Performing job duties in the safest way possible with a 100% accident-free, 100% incident-free target goal.
• Acting as an acting representative to professionally present, uphold, and solidify the representation and respect of our motto, “Restoring Principles & Integrity One Connection at a Time” at all times.
• Frequent standing and lifting, spending 95% of time in the shop environment, 3% in the yard, and 2% in the office.
• Lifting equipment according to company safety manual (max 50 lbs), reviewing staged jobs before loading, operating forklift (with current certification), overhead crane operation, testing equipment, rigging, and completing these tasks in accordance with current training and the Bulldog Services Safety Manual.
• Wearing clothing items promoting or suggesting non-business-related propaganda is not allowed. Conforming to the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by BDS in compliance with OSHA regulations and directives. Maintaining a safe work environment for oneself and others by following any and all posted and non-posted safety guidelines.
• Respecting non-posted guidelines found in the BDS safety manual.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing and lifting.
• Spend 95% of time in the shop environment, 3% in the yard, and 2% in the office.

Compensation

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
