Shop Technician
Location: G&D Chillers/Ingersoll Rand - 130 E. 1st Avenue Junction City, OR. 97448
Shift: Day Shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Occasional (non-mandatory) overtime. Non-union facility.

Job Overview
We are seeking an Electrical / Panel Shop Technician to assemble, wire, and test industrial electrical control panels and install electrical systems in industrial chillers. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and continuous improvement while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble industrial electrical control panels from engineering drawings and schematics
- Install wiring, conduit, relays, contactors, PLC hardware, VFDs, sensors, and terminal blocks
- Route and terminate wiring neatly and accurately
- Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and Bills of Material (BOMs)
- Verify component placement and wiring before release to testing
- Troubleshoot electrical and wiring issues
- Perform quality inspections of completed work
- Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles, and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available for this role
Core Competencies
- Ability to read electrical schematics

Preferences
- Experience with PLC controls
- Experience in electrical assembly or panel building, preferred
- Industrial HVAC or refrigeration experience
- Forklift certification, or ability to obtain
- Knowledge of NEC standards
This position is fully site-based at our Oregon, OH facility; no travel required. A company vehicle is not provided for this role. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
