We'll Teach You Hydraulics. PIRTEK Peachtree is hiring a Shop Technician for our Tyrone location. We're looking for someone who is mechanically experienced, dependable, and comfortable working with tools and equipment. You don't need hydraulic hose experience. If you know your way around mechanical equipment and have the mindset to figure out how things work, we'll teach you the hydraulic side of the business. What You'll Do Build hydraulic and industrial hose assembliesIdentify hoses, fittings, adapters, and componentsHelp walk-in customers with hose and parts needsReceive, stock, count, and organize inventoryPrepare parts for our Mobile Service TechniciansMaintain a clean, organized, professional shopAssist with deliveries, equipment, vehicle upfitting, and shop projects What We're Looking For Hands-on mechanical experienceStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilityComfortable using hand tools and shop equipmentDependable, organized, and safety-consciousGood customer service and communication skillsValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordAble to lift up to 75 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the day Experience with automotive or diesel repair, construction or landscaping equipment, fleet maintenance, industrial maintenance, agricultural equipment, manufacturing, or hydraulics is a strong fit. Pay & Opportunity $18–$22/hour based on experience. Mechanically qualified candidates who are new to hydraulics will typically start near $18/hour. We provide PIRTEK training and the opportunity to develop a specialized mechanical skill.
