Shop Technician

Job Title: Shop Technician Location: Las Cruces, NM Job Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $18 to $25 depending on experience Job Summary Sonsray Agriculture is seeking a motivated and skilled Shop Technician to join our Las Cruces team. This role is responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on CASE agriculture equipment and related machinery in a shop environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting abilities, and experience working on agricultural or heavy equipment systems. We are looking for a dependable technician who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced dealership environment. What You'll Do Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on CASE agriculture equipment and related machineryDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, transmission, and engine-related issuesComplete structural repairs and welding as neededConduct inspections and identify equipment issues accurately and efficientlyComplete service documentation and repair reports using basic computer systemsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentSafely operate hand, pneumatic, and electric tools and equipmentFollow OEM repair procedures and dealership safety standardsCollaborate with team members and management to support overall shop operationsPerform additional duties as assigned to support dealership objectives What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of experience servicing and repairing agricultural or heavy equipment requiredStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsWelding and structural repair experience highly preferredStrong computer skills for documentation, job tracking, and service reportingWell-organized with the ability to work independently and manage workload with minimal supervisionFamiliarity with OEM repair procedures and shop safety practicesStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipMust be reliable, punctual, and team-orientedPreferred to have own tools About Sonsray Sonsray moves mountains for the construction, transportation, and agriculture industries.
