Shop Technician

Location: Santa Fe Springs • Full-time • $32–$38 hourly (depending on experience)

About the role

Technicians perform service maintenance and quality repairs on CASE construction machinery and related equipment in both shop and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
• Perform structural repairs, including welding, in accordance with OEM guidelines.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure equipment is returned to optimal working condition.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Follow established Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed.
• Operate hand, pneumatic, and electric tools safely and effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support departmental objectives.

Requirements

• 5–10 years’ mechanical experience in construction equipment is highly preferred.
• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing construction equipment.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Skilled in the safe and proper use of hand, pneumatic, and electric tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to perform duties both in shop and field environments as needed.
