Shop Technician

What You’ll Do:

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot technical issues and identify root causes
• Inspect equipment and identify potential problems
• Assemble, install, and test new machinery according to specifications
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work
• Assist with field operations when needed
• Paint, pressure wash, and rebuild equipment as necessary
• Maintain and update shop inventory regularly
• Cook up logistics for equipment transport between regions and rigs
• Participate in Premium Safety and Quality programs

What We’re Looking For:

• A high school diploma or equivalent; technical training/certification a plus
• Proven experience as a shop technician or similar role
• Strong technical skills and proficiency with diagnostic tools
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment or parts
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices
• Proficiency with computers and inventory management software

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Frequent walking, lifting, and equipment operation in a warehouse/shop environment
