About the role

Pape’ Rents, a premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a skilled and driven Rental Shop Technician to join our team in City of Industry, CA. Two positions are available.

Responsibilities

• Work on all makes and models of material handling and construction equipment in the shop, ensuring repairs are done accurately and timely to support customers and maximize uptime.
• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or failures.
• Execute necessary repairs or component replacements, including rebuilding or replacing complex systems such as transmissions, masts, differentials, hydraulic components, engines, electrical systems, and steering mechanisms.
• Perform welding and fabrication work as part of certain repairs.
• Collaborate with skilled technicians in a fully equipped shop with the tools, support, and resources to grow your career.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment, preferably in the material handling industry.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and assertiveness.

Pay

$26–34/hour (depending on experience).
