Responsibilities
- Perform periodic maintenance, repair, replacement, and troubleshooting on various models of Hyster-Yale forklifts and equipment and competitive material handling equipment, including fuel systems, drivetrains, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
- Assist with training/mentoring apprentice technicians through on-the-job training.
- Follow all safety procedures in performing work as well as company policies.
- Properly identify and order all necessary replacement parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or tech school graduate preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to repair equipment per skill level.
- Basic Computer/Tablet knowledge (Microsoft and Apple operating systems).
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills.

Essential Functions
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.
- Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, pull, and/or otherwise move up to 25 pounds.
- Safely operate the equipment.

- The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Employees must safely operate the equipment.
- Work environments may include exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipment, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and vibration.
- Employees may occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock.
- The noise level in some work environments is occasionally loud.
