Summary of Position

Niles Industrial Coatings, LLC is a privately held, financially strong industrial services company that prides itself on the safety of its workers. The company is seeking a full‑time Technician based out of the Fenton, MI location. The Technician will report to the Lead Technician, support business operations, and be required to travel overnight and perform on‑site work as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Test, repair, and maintain blast pots, paint pumps, and a variety of other equipment such as small engines (gas & electric), vehicles, ATVs, golf carts, etc.
• Accurately document repair and maintenance orders for equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues.
• Provide on‑site equipment support and service.
• Maintain inventory of repair parts.
• Perform general warehouse housekeeping and maintenance.
• Follow established procedures.
• Drive company vehicle(s) as required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with a focus on detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to take directions from the Lead Technician.
• Flexibility to adjust to schedule changes and accommodate as needed.
• Regular travel required.
• Chauffeur’s License or CDL.
• Mechanical experience with pumps/pressurized systems.
• Motor Vehicle Record cleared with no accidents, moving violations, or points.
