Shop Service Technician - Texas First Rentals

About the role

Texas First Rentals is seeking a Shop Service Technician to join their team. This position is based in Texas.

Essential Functions

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of rental equipment
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in industrial machinery repair
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel as needed
• Pass a background check

Skills

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Understanding of Caterpillar and other industrial machinery models
