About the role

Shop Service Technician - Outside Repairs is responsible for providing service and repairs to Caterpillar equipment located at customer sites.

Essential Functions

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on Caterpillar equipment.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Document work performed and communicate status updates to supervisors.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• At least 2 years of related experience in heavy equipment maintenance or repair.
