- Focus on equipment setup, inspection, and quality
- Less reactive work—more controlled, detail-driven environment
- Play a key role in delivering equipment that’s job-ready
- Work on a wide range of equipment: excavators, dozers, loaders, paving equipment, and attachments
- Hands-on assembly, configuration, and functional testing
- Exposure to different machines and systems

Responsibilities
- Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and used equipment
- Assemble, install, and adjust components, attachments, and accessories
- Inspect mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Identify and correct setup issues or deficiencies
- Verify fluids, configurations, and system readiness
- Operate equipment to perform functional checks
- Complete inspection reports and documentation
- Prepare equipment to meet Milton CAT quality standards
- Support rental fleet preparation as needed
Requirements
- 1–3 years of heavy equipment or mechanical experience (or technical degree)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to follow specifications and complete inspections accurately
- Basic computer skills (inspection/reporting systems)
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Your own tools
- A quality-focused, safety-first mindset
Pay
$28.50–$37.89/hour (based on experience)
