About the role
Shop Service Technicians 3 are responsible for maintaining and repairing Caterpillar equipment.
Essential Functions
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on Caterpillar equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep equipment running efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar equipment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and hydraulics.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related experience in a service technician role.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
