About the role
Texas First Rentals is seeking a Shop Service Technician 2 to join their team. This position is based in Texas.
Essential Functions
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on industrial equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep equipment running smoothly
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and hydraulic components
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in industrial equipment repair
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a related field preferred
- Experience with Caterpillar equipment
