Shop Porter

Pay
$17/hr - $24/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities
- Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the front office, including emptying garbage cans, cleaning floors, and dusting.
- Help in the detail department when needed.
- Assist shop with calibration, production, and post scan.
- Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, including emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted parts, assisting in cleaning spray booths, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
- Drive company vehicles to run shop errands or pick up parts; drive customer vehicles for pick-up and delivery.
- Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Perform minor equipment and building maintenance/repairs when necessary.
- Ensure all cars are protected from inclement weather.
- Secure all vehicles and ensure vehicle keys are separate and secure.
- Perform other duties as assigned to successfully meet the needs of the business.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with the Classic Collision team and customers.
- Ability to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Physical & Environmental Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and is required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk occasionally for long periods at a time. The employee may occasionally be required to reach with hands, arms, and move objects up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Abilities for assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned are also required.
