What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel systems
- Perform PM work on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
- Complete accurate service logs and repair documentation
- Keep the shop clean, safe, and well-organized
- Support general shop and facility maintenance
What You Need
- HS diploma/GED (experience may substitute)
- 2+ years mechanic experience with heavy trucks or construction equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Your own tools suitable for heavy equipment work
- Welding experience is a plus
- Able to pass DOT drug test & criminal background check
- Able to perform heavy physical tasks (lifting 50+ lbs, climbing, kneeling, etc.)
Work Environment
- Indoor/outdoor shop work in all weather
- Regular lifting (50+ lbs.), bending, kneeling, climbing
- Exposure to noise, dust, and fumes
